Comments:
More than enough power for Masters.  Not all that enamoured with the construction of the CA Impact, will probably move the drive train into a ZN Oxalys for next season.  Very quiet.  A challenge keeping the engine cool; waiting for a spinner that'll duct air through the back plate.

The airplane flies great, I flew it at the NATS in F3A with no problems.  Everything performed great for the two unknowns as well at the Finals at the NATS as well.

New motor from Plettenberg, initial testing.  Packs about 25-30C for rup test.

Very powerful, far better than the regular 30-10.  Motor runs much cooler than the previous motor.

Comments:
The best flying plane I have owned to date. Moderate speed variation with very linear throttle response. Since the plane flies slower than my glow, I now fly with more percision. Very predictable rudder corrections. This is a very good snapping and rolling plane. The plane has dead straight up lines and power off down lines.

Comments:

The Mantis is a very draggy airplane.  The Xtra 25 isn't a large enough motor to power it through P05 with authority.  For 2006 I will use an Xtra 30.  The batteries were awesome, and still in very good condition (CBA verified) at 55 cycles.
